Job summary

GOSH Enterprises is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join the People Services team in Columbus, Ohio. You will manage day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance, and support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes across corporate and restaurant environments.

Working with HR leadership, you will lead I-9 and E-Verify activities, maintain accurate records in UKG, and drive continuous improvement of HR templates, reports, and procedures while handling sensitive information with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive HR or People Services experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and lifecycle processes.
• Experience managing I-9s, audits, and HR documentation.
• Experience with employee relations intake and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and UKG HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day HR operations with high accuracy.
• Act as primary contact for routine HR inquiries and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain and improve HR SOPs, templates, and process docs.
• Support audits and internal reviews for compliance.
• Lead I-9 and E-Verify processing and audits.
• Maintain employee files per federal, state, and company rules.
• Support onboarding logistics for corporate and restaurant staff.
• Produce HR reports and support data requests.
• Manage HR projects and track milestones to improve efficiency.
