Job summary

The Village Network in Wooster, OH is seeking a Director of HR Operations to lead day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliant, employee-focused services across talent management, acquisition, benefits and leave management.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role drives process improvements, data-driven decisions, and leadership development while supporting a trauma-informed workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive, broad-based HR experience across multiple disciplines.
• PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development to HR team members and establishes clear expectations.
• Oversees talent management, acquisition, benefits and leave management to ensure compliant, employee-focused HR services.
• Partners with VP HR to implement strategy and translate priorities into operational practices.
• Develops dashboards and analyzes workforce data to drive improvements.
