Job summary

Phamily in New York is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to scale systems, processes, programs, and data infrastructure that power our People function. You will own payroll, benefits, HRIS, and reporting across the employee lifecycle, turning workforce data into actionable insights.

This hands-on role requires strong technical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven ability to build dashboards and optimize HR workflows in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR management with ownership of HR operations.
• Hands-on payroll management for salaried and hourly employees.
• Experience leading HRIS/payroll implementations incl vendor selection, configuration, data migration, testing, launch.
• Experience managing benefits, 401(k), equity, and open enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR operations across onboarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding.
• Lead payroll for salaried and hourly staff, including deductions and audits.
• Oversee benefits, 401(k), equity, and total rewards programs.
• Lead annual open enrollment and benefits vendor management.
• Lead end-to-end HRIS and payroll vendor selection and implementation.
• Maintain HR technology ecosystem including HRIS/payroll, Lattice, EasyLlama, Notion.
• Develop scalable HR processes, dashboards, and templates.
• Provide HR guidance to employees and managers with timely issue resolution.
