Gertens Family of Businesses, a vertically integrated greenhouse and retail operator in Inver Grove Heights, MN, seeks an experienced Human Resources Assistant. You will support onboarding, background checks, DOT compliance, and HR administration across multiple operations including greenhouse, retail, and transportation.

The role emphasizes data-driven HR processes, confidential personnel handling, and excellent service to employees and managers.

Formación

• Associate degree in HR, business admin, or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Progressive HR administrative experience; high-volume onboarding experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate high-volume onboarding for seasonal staff and ensure HR system entry.
• Coordinate background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment screenings.
• Maintain DOT compliance documentation and driver qualifications.
• Administer HR records, benefits, leaves, and policy acknowledgments.
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and data tracking in Excel.
• Provide professional support to employees, managers, and applicants.
