The HR Officer will provide expert support and advice to operational management across all HR areas, consistently demonstrating HR best practices. They will be the initial point of contact for all operational HR matters and will proactively support the development and achievement of team and organisational outcomes aligned with Dimensions' strategy.

This is a home-based role with occasional travel across the region, so it is essential that you are based in Wales.

We are looking for HR Officer(s) to cover 37.5 hours. We are a flexible employer, so this can be one full-time or two part-time positions.

The full-time salary for this role is £31,806, pro-rata'd if part-time hours are agreed.

The closing date may be earlier depending on application volume.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  1. Providing first-level advice on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations, with support from the HR Business Partner as needed.
  2. Supporting Locality Managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance cases.
  3. Providing timely and accurate management information to support strategy development and decision-making.
  4. Reviewing sickness absence and coordinating relevant interventions, including referrals to Occupational Health and advice on phased returns.
About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Operational HR experience supporting managers in various HR functions.
  • Experience in developing metrics and reports, with strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
