Job description

The HR Officer will provide expert support and advice to operational management across all HR areas, consistently demonstrating HR best practices. The HR Officer will be the first point of contact for all operational HR matters and will proactively support the development and achievement of team and organisational outcomes aligned with Dimensions' strategy.

This role is home-based with occasional travel across the region, so it is essential that you are based in Wales.

We are looking for HR Officer(s) to cover 37.5 hours per week. We are a flexible employer, so this can be either one full-time or two part-time positions.

The full-time salary for this role is £31,806, pro-rata for part-time hours.

The closing date may be earlier depending on application volume.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  1. Providing first-level advice on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations, with guidance from the HR Business Partner as needed.
  2. Supporting Locality Managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
  3. Providing timely and accurate management information to support strategy and decision-making.
  4. Reviewing sickness absence and undertaking relevant interventions, including referrals to Occupational Health and advice on phased returns.
About you

The successful applicant will have:

  1. Operational HR experience supporting managers across all HR functions.
  2. Experience in developing metrics and reports with data analysis skills.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills with negotiation and influencing abilities.
  4. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
