About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR & Training Manager to join our team in Redmond, WA. This hybrid position balances on site and remote work and is ideal for a candidate with strong HR management experience in regulated industries. The primary responsibility is to develop, manage, and deliver compliance training programs that ensure all employees meet government and industry regulatory requirements. This role also supports broader HR functions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Compliance Education (Primary Focus – 50%)
- Develop, deliver, and maintain compliance-focused training programs across the organization
- Source, customize, and update training materials to reflect current federal, state, and industry regulations
- Track and report on training completion and continuing education requirements to ensure audit readiness
- Utilize digital learning platforms to deliver engaging and accessible training sessions
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to monitor regulatory changes and adjust training accordingly
Human Resources (Supporting Focus – 50%)
- Oversee onboarding and programs emphasizing compliance and best practices
- Manage performance reviews, coaching initiatives, and employee development programs
- Maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation
- Handle employee relations and foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture
- Administer benefits, leave policies, and vendor coordination as needed
Qualifications
** Minimum 3 years of HR management experience in the United States required
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs focused on compliance and continuing education
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, LMS platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be within commuting distance of Redmond, WA (no relocation assistance available)
Experience
- Background in industries with mandatory compliance training (e.g., finance, healthcare, education)
- Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR
- Experience with digital training tools like Trainual, Litmos, or Lessonly
