Job summary

CoreCivic, a leading corrections and detention services company, seeks a Manager of Human Resources to lead HR operations at the Eloy facility. The role covers benefits, compensation, compliance, employee relations, and staffing, partnering with facility management to meet goals.

The incumbent will oversee hiring, implement ongoing recruitment programs, manage employee relations and administer benefits, with a focus on regulatory compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Admin or related field.
• Two years of HR experience required; recruiting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO/AA, FLSA and workers' compensation.
• Strong time management, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and payroll software preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of HR administration including benefits, compensation, compliance, employee relations and development.
• Work with facility HR staff to meet HR processes and contractual requirements.
• Oversee facility hiring: screening, interviewing, selection and hiring with management.
• Direct and implement ongoing recruitment programs and community partnerships for staffing needs.
• Manage employee relations and grievances with guidance from supervisors; update HRIS.
• Administer company-sponsored benefits; conduct onboarding and open enrollment sessions.
