Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast (BGCMCC) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations across our growing organization in Paso Robles and throughout Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

Reporting to the COO, this role ensures California compliance, strengthens organizational culture, and partners with site leaders to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce of 110–130 employees year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience in California employment law and HR best practices.
• Knowledge of multi-site HR operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations across the organization.
• Build and maintain HR systems and processes.
• Partner with supervisors on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture aligned with the organization's mission and values.
• Ensure compliance with California employment laws and organizational policies.
• Administer HRIS, data integrity, ACA tracking, and system optimization.
• Coordinate payroll readiness, deductions, and data accuracy prior to payroll processing.
• Manage benefits administration, retirement programs, and related compliance.
• Analyze HR metrics to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the COO to implement strategic HR initiatives.
