Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead a team in Compensation & Benefits. The successful candidate will manage payroll, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop HR policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and an in-depth understanding of HR practices.

Job description

  • Lead and oversee a team of 4-5 HR professionals in the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team.
  • Manage and review end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Approve payroll reports, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
  • Develop and refine C&B policies, including salary structures, benefits administration, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct regular salary benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive compensation packages.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as insurance, leave, and welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, CPF contributions, IRAS tax reporting, and other statutory requirements.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for payroll calculations, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Work closely with finance and other departments on payroll reconciliation and budgeting.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll and C&B operations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with a focus on Compensation & Benefits and Payroll.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing payroll and C&B functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
