Job summary

Hobart Filler Metals is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with plant leaders and frontline teams across multiple manufacturing locations. You will drive employee relations, talent initiatives, and workforce planning to strengthen culture and business results.

In this hands-on role, you’ll coach leaders, manage recruitment and onboarding, ensure HR compliance, and advance development programs while balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day people support in a fast-paced 24/5

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
  • Experience handling employee relations issues with professionalism, fairness, and sound judgment.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and performance management processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset and a desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday or SmartRecruiters is a plus.

  • Participate in strategic projects that improve employee experience and business performance.

About the Role

This role serves as the primary HR partner for leaders and employees across multiple manufacturing locations operating in a 24/5 environment. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with plant leaders, frontline employees, and the HR team to strengthen culture, develop talent, support business growth, and ensure our employees have an exceptional workplace experience.
