Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking candidates for the HR Leadership Development Program (HRLDP), a three-year, early-career rotation designed to develop future HR leaders.

Participants will rotate through BUHR generalist roles, plant HR support, and COE groups, gaining broad exposure to Corning’s global business segments while building a strong professional network and leadership skills. You will onboard with onboarding workshops, mentorship, leadership training, and interaction with business leaders

Qualifications

• 3-year commitment to the rotational program
• Mobility within the U.S. for annual rotation
• Master’s degree in ILR/HRM (or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organization Development or equivalent (considered)

Responsibilities

• Deploying BUHR and COE programs to support Corning values
• Educating plant leadership on union contracts and employment law
• Manage and mitigate employee grievances with leadership
• Coach and counsel management on leadership practices for a positive work environment
• Resolve employee relations issues to support operations
• Lead HR initiatives like attendance tracking, training, and communications
• Track and document employment issues for compliance
• Implement risk management policies to ensure safety and compliance with laws
• Collaborate with BUHR and COE to standardize programs and processes
• Engage with vendors to maximize outsourced service delivery
