Job summary

Benco Dental in Pittston, PA is seeking an HR Intern for the Spring 2027 semester. You’ll assist with culture & people initiatives, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, compensation and benefits, payroll, engagement and special projects.

This paid internship offers mentorship, networking, and potential for full-time employment, with a family-oriented culture and diversity initiatives. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, able to work onsite up to 20 hours per week, and

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Ability to work onsite as needed in Pittston, PA.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.
• A preferred minimum GPA of 3.2.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to functional areas of Culture & People, including, but not limited to talent acquisition and recruiting, retention, performance management, associate relations, HRIS, compensation and benefits, payroll, engagement, communication, and special projects.
• Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process, by sourcing candidates, building talent networks, posting positions, reviewing applicants, and scheduling interviews.
• Help manage day-to-day administration and maintenance of benefits and leave programs.
• Support HRIS projects and associate engagement activities.
• Communicate changes in company policies and procedures to staff.
