Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Human Resources Intern to assist across HR functions, including general HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Benefits, and Learning & Development. You will support current and prospective Nicolet Bank employees in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

The role emphasizes facilitating onboarding, handling confidentiality, coordinating benefits, and supporting training initiatives while building strong relationships with staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Paycor preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring smooth workflows between departments.
• Serve as first point of contact for managers and employees to resolve disciplinary and performance issues.
• Communicate professionally and discreetly in employee and manager situations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with Nicolet Bank directors, managers, and staff.
• Support talent acquisition activities including reviewing job descriptions and sourcing candidates.
• Assist with coordination of payroll-related HRIS transactions and benefits enrollments.
• Support Learning & Development activities including scheduling, materials, and tracking.
