Job Description

The HR Informatics Specialist primarily supports and maintains the Human Capital Management (HCM) system and related technologies supporting the SBL workforce. The role involves managing HCM systems, ensuring data integrity and security, generating reports, and analyzing data flows for process improvements. The specialist maintains HR data, assists with system upgrades, and reports to the Human Resources Director. The position works independently, guided by relevant laws, policies, and procedures, and may lead projects and coordinate with other analysts.

Experience with Workday is preferred but not required.

Note: This is an on-site position located in Mattoon, IL.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead projects for developing or revising HR systems and processes, including planning and policy development.
  2. Build dashboards for data visualization to support decision-making.
  3. Consult with HR staff on labor relations issues affecting HR systems.
  4. Query HR data to support labor negotiations.
  5. Coordinate system modifications with other departments and manage change processes.
  6. Develop and document workflows to improve HR system efficiency.
  7. Oversee system upgrades, testing, and implementation, working with vendors as needed.
  8. Manage access controls and security policies for HR data.
  9. Maintain accuracy of job, position, and assignment data within HR systems.
  10. Provide training on HR systems and develop user documentation.
  11. Recommend process improvements, policy changes, and innovative solutions.
  12. Serve as liaison with third parties and stakeholders, managing projects effectively.
  13. Create and support reports and queries to maintain data integrity and support user needs.

Compensation

Estimated Range: $60,486.40 - $93,745.60, based on experience
