Job description

We are hiring for an Application Engineer. The candidate as Application Engineer will be responsible for providing post-sales support for Solid Edge and NX; working within a team providing telephone and remote technical support to engineering companies, so excellent communication and troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow through are essential.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:
Providing post-sales support for Solid Edge and NX; working within a team providing telephone and remote technical support to engineering companies.

Delivering classroom-based product training.

Supporting customers and internal staff with technical queries face to face, by telephone, and via email.

Being an ambassador during all customer interactions and acting as a role model for the behaviors which will develop a truly service-oriented business.

Participation in company projects as and when required.

Carry out any other ad-hoc duties within your capabilities that are relevant to the job and reasonably requested of you by your manager.

Skill Requirements:
Ideally a minimum of 1.5 to 2 years in Tech Support.

Ideally Degree qualified preferably a BEng or BSc in a mechanical or technical subject.

Those with previous Pre-Post Technical experience in CAD-CAM would be preferred.
