Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Georgia is seeking an HR Generalist for West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. Under general supervision, you will provide payroll, benefits enrollment, recruitment and HR services, and support orientations and open enrollment.

You will assist supervisors with performance reviews and guidance on PIPs, manage annual enrollment, and help ensure compliance with state policies, including background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and four (4) years of human resource experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Generalist 1 (HRP010) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide multiple human resources services in support of an organization.
• Support recruitment, benefits, training and other HR functions.
• Assist employees with enrollment in health, dental, and retirement plans; manage annual open enrollment.
• Conduct the HR portion of New Staff Orientation, including HR policies and benefits.
• Support supervisors with the annual review process and guidance on performance improvement plans (PIPs, PMFs).
