Job summary

Meridell Achievement Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks an HR support professional to assist the HR Director with staffing, training and data management near Austin, TX. You will coordinate training and maintain employee records while ensuring compliance across units.

The role requires 1-3 years of HR experience and a Bachelor's degree, with clinical exposure preferred. This full-time on-site position offers strong growth opportunities within UHS and its network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years experience required, 5-8 years preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience in RTC setting.
  • One year of group facilitation experience.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with facility licensing entities.
  • Communicates training information to management and others as needed.
  • Notifications are sent out timely; staff are scheduled and recertified timely.

Responsibilities

Meridell Achievement Center is a 134-bed, seclusion free, psychiatric residential treatment facility located northwest of Austin. Our 60-acre campus is complete with mature oaks, rolling hills, and plenty of walking paths and outdoor spaces. We have 7 unique living units separated by gender, age, and development needs with a swimming pool, gymnasium, sports court and playing fields.We provide 24-hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 10 to 17 years old with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs to teach young patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions and improve social functioning.

Position Summary:

Accountable for providing support to all hourly and salaried employees through effective communication and administration across all functions of the facility. Carries out responsibilities as directed by the HR Director. Coordinates all required classes and administers all online training courses to employees. Assists HR Director in maintaining the goals and objectives of the organization. Will work directly with and assist the human resources director to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. This includes all hiring, firing, training and company education procedures for new or existing employees. Must track and maintain all employee data.
