Under the supervision of the HR Manager, the Human Resources Generalist I is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.

The expectation is that the back-up is trained on each of these tasks so they can assist when the lead for the task is out of the office or consumed with a large project.
This applicant must navigate initial hire screenings including a background check conducted internally through Sea Mar’s human resources department. The new employee shall sign and date the job description to affirm the validity of the information herein and to signify compliance with the conditions of employment; they must sign an oath of permanent confidentiality covering all patient related information as well. The employee must adhere to the Sea Mar Employee Health Screening and Infection Control policies.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, fax machines, and telephones. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to loud. The employee may be required to share work space with other employees. Adequate lighting and equipment are available to the employee. Use of ergonomic office furniture will be used when appropriate. This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Little to no travel is expected for this position.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files (not to exceed 50 lbs.), open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
