Job summary

Ethos Health Group is seeking an organized HR Generalist to join our Ocala team. You will support day-to-day HR tasks, help with recruiting, onboarding, and employee records, and assist with benefits and timekeeping. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people, staying organized, and learning different areas of HR.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of HR, administrative, office, or related experience preferred.
• HR experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using Google Suite, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR department with day-to-day HR administrative tasks.
• Help post open positions and coordinate the recruiting process.
• Review applications and resumes and assist with scheduling interviews.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Assist with background checks, drug screens, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Help prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate onboarding.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Answer basic employee questions and direct more complex questions to the appropriate HR team member.
• Assist employees with general questions regarding benefits, PTO, timekeeping, and company policies.
• Help monitor timecards and correct timekeeping issues.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other HR-related documents.
