In-Depth Engineering Corporation in Columbia, MD is seeking an HR Specialist to join our growing team. The role will support talent acquisition, benefits administration, and HR processes across our staff.

Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain a DoD secret clearance; a Bachelor’s degree and 5–6 years HR experience are required. On-site work in Columbia, with periodic travel to Fairfax, VA. A comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR/BA or related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years of professional HR experience.
• Experience in talent acquisition and candidate screening.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Performs talent acquisition: posting jobs, resume review, phone screening, interviews, onboarding.
• Manages lifecycle HR processes including performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Administers employee benefits and annual healthcare enrollment.
• Contributes to retention strategies and employee relations.
• Supports training, surveys, and HR process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with DoD-related requirements and reporting.
