Flow Traders is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR & Recruitment team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will act as a trusted HR partner, providing operational and strategic HR support across our European offices while driving people initiatives, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making. • HR Generalist & People Partnering – Serve as a trusted HR partner and first point of contact for employees and managers. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leave, promotions, transfers, and HR documentation. Support relocation, visa, work permit, recruitment, engagement, and organizational change activities. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, data privacy requirements, and HR best practices.
• HR Systems, Migration & Process Improvement – Partner with IT, HR stakeholders, and vendors to improve HR technology, processes, and the overall employee experience. Translate business and HR needs into clear data, reporting, workflow, and system requirements. Support HCM implementation activities, including system upgrades, testing, data migration, configuration, documentation, and user adoption. Lead and contribute to process improvement, automation, and HR technology projects.
• Data, Analytics & Insights – Maintain accurate employee data and ensure data integrity across HRIS and related systems. Collaborate with other HR team members to create HR dashboards, reports, and people analytics to support workforce planning and business decisions. Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights and compelling data stories. Present workforce data, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making. Apply advanced Excel skills, data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation with data visualization tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in an international or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes.
• HR Systems & Migration – Technology‑oriented mindset with hands‑on experience using HRIS, HCM, reporting, or workflow systems.
• Experience with HCM implementation, HR system transformation, or system integration (highly desirable).
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical data, process, and system solutions.
• Data, Analytics & Insights – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience presenting workforce data and people analytics to senior leadership and influencing decision‑making.
• Strong analytical ability, with high attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ways of Working – Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
