Job Description Summary

The HR Generalist is responsible for partnering with the business on a variety of HR initiatives that will engage and grow talent, build employee loyalty through our employee value proposition, and drive the people strategy through operational effectiveness.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Coach managers, create and execute talent initiatives
  • Collaborate with local and national HR teams to implement policy updates, process improvements, streamline onboarding practices and provide improved training programs.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects
  • Implement HR programs within assigned businesses
  • Analyze data and metrics in order to inform strategic business planning
  • Analyze and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and recommend action plans
  • Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field
  • 5+ years HR Generalist experience with diverse employee population and strong employee relations experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Excel
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly collaborative with clients and co-workers. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable knowledge of State and Federal employment law
  • Experience in real estate, financial or professional services a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
  • Superior relationship skills
  • HRIS proficiency (Workday a plus)
  • Coaching and dispute resolution skills

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $59,500.00 - $70,000.00
