Job summary

Anderson Auto Group is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR functions, including recruiting, pre-screening, onboarding, and payroll processing. The role emphasizes data integrity in the HRIS, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations across the Lake Havasu City region.

You will collaborate with managers and staff, manage sensitive information with discretion, and contribute to a positive workplace culture while supporting operational processes and labor

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources, payroll-focused, with Paycom or similar HRIS experience.
• Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations including recruiting, pre-screening, and onboarding new employees.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity with regular audits and updates.
• Oversee deductions, benefits enrollments, tax withholdings, and garnishments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger entries.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding in HRIS and final pay processing.
• Support benefits administration and system integration.
• Ensure compliance with policies and employment laws through regular audits.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding in partnership with managers.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures; coach managers on policy interpretation.
• Review and approve employee timecards for payroll accuracy.

This role is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, pre-screening, and onboarding new employees, administering payroll, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
