Streamwood Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our HR Team in Streamwood, IL. This role supports recruitment, pre-employment processes, onboarding, benefits administration, employee records and HRIS data entry to help the organization run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years in HR as a Generalist or Coordinator, strong MS Office skills, experience with HRIS/ATS systems (iCIMS, Lawson), and a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years HR Coordinator or HR Generalist REQUIRED.
• HR Healthcare strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and pre-employment processes, maintain employee files and HRIS data.
• Employee recognition, updates to position/evaluation grids and employment verification.
• Manage workers' compensation, leaves of absence (FMLA, military, etc.) and unemployment compensation.
• New employee orientation, benefits administration and employee training.
• Maintain disciplinary database and handle employee relations and evaluations.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for most human resources functions. These may include internal and external recruitment, pre-employment processes, maintenance of employee files, employee recognition, and data entering employee changes into our HRIS, updating position and evaluation grid, employment verification, worker's compensation, leave of absences (general, education, medical, FMLA, Military, administrative leaves), new employee orientation, benefits (administration locally/reports), employee training, employee relations job descriptions/evaluations, disciplinary database, employee training, and unemployment compensation.

Qualifications
