Arlo Technologies, Inc. is seeking a proactive HR Generalist on a 12-month contract based in Carlsbad, CA. The role partners with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, handling HR operations and contributing to engagement and compliance initiatives.

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our People team on a 12-month contract based in our Carlsbad, CA office. Reporting to the Director of HR, this role provides broad HR support across the employee lifecycle — partnering with managers and employees, handling HR operations, and contributing to engagement and compliance initiatives. It's a strong opportunity for an HR professional building HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced, global technology company. The ideal candidate is a team player, has a curious, growth-mindset, rolls up sleeves, and takes initiative and accountability, and has a passion for driving great employee experiences. This is a 12 month, fixed term contract.
Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. 4-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience supporting the full employee lifecycle. Working knowledge of California employment law. Strong customer service, employee relations, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast, dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Communication/collaboration and HRIS platforms.
Preferred Experience supporting a technology company; familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS platforms. Experience in compensation, benefits administration, immigration case management and employee relations. Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent). Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as Claude or ChatGPT. Familiarity with SharePoint or similar web-based collaboration/document management platforms.
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between USD$75,000-90,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
