Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting, advertising, and hiring processes for incoming talent
  • Support the administration of the branch affairs
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities
  • Maintain relationships with temporary staffing agencies and assist with workforce needs
  • Partner with branch management to promote consistent application of company policies
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs
  • Support FMLA and Disability processes and assist with Workers’ Compensation coordination alongside the Safety Manager
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding employee relations matters
  • Assist with employee relations activities and internal communications
  • Prepare separation paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and track turnover trends
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws and reporting requirements
  • Support training initiatives, performance management processes, and development programs
  • Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and communications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

We, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for aHuman Resources Generalist for our Aurora, IL location, employing approximately 80 employees. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. So, what will you be doing as an HR Generalist?

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
