Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Executive to support our F&B operations team in managing day-to-day HR functions. This role will focus on recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and compliance with employment regulations in Singapore. While the role is fully remote, you will be closely involved with managers across multiple outlets and the head office to ensure smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for service crew, kitchen staff, outlet managers, and corporate roles.
  • Draft and post job advertisements on relevant platforms (JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, social media, etc.).
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, ensuring all documents comply with MOM requirements.
  • Manage onboarding process, including orientation materials, work pass applications (where applicable), and first-day arrangements.
2. Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring timely updates for new hires, transfers, resignations, and changes.
  • Manage leave records, medical claims, and attendance reports.
  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations via EP Online and related systems.
3. Payroll & Benefits Support
  • Liaise with payroll vendors or in-house payroll team to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, and allowance records for payroll.
  • Support administration of employee benefits, including medical insurance and staff meal allowances.
4. Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Support HR initiatives such as staff engagement activities, recognition programs, and feedback surveys.
  • Handle employee queries and escalate issues to the HR Manager as required.
  • Assist in resolving outlet-level staff grievances in a fair and timely manner.
5. Compliance & Policy
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore’s Employment Act and relevant labour regulations.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information and data.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and work pass procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; experience with cloud-based HR tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Working Conditions
  • Fully remote role; occasional site visits to outlets may be required.
  • Standard 5-day work week, with flexibility during peak recruitment periods.
