Job summary

Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking an HR Employee Support Generalist to be the Voice of HR for the US. You will handle level 1 inquiries, use HRIS and SharePoint, and deliver WOW service while working in a hybrid setup from Buffalo.

You will receive training across HR functions and support payroll, learning and development, and other disciplines, with a rotating schedule ending at 7 PM ET. Local residency for onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Typically a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• At least one year in customer service, HR support, or a call center environment.
• Familiarity with HR systems (Workday or similar HRIS), SharePoint, or other employee support platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to WOW service.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of level 1 HR issues and inquiries (Voice, Email, Mail, Fax, Walk-in) on time with high accuracy.
• Work with policies, procedures, and performance criteria for Employee Support services.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze calls and know when to escape issues.
• Support HRMS processes and updates across the US; identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an HR Employee Support Generalist to join them!

In this role, you will be the "Voice of HR" and the first point of contact for all of Moog (US) for issues and inquiries regarding any HR discipline. As an HR Employee Support Generalist, you will ensure that all employees, managers, and HR team inquiries are accurately addressed in a professional, cost-effective, and timely manner, with a commitment to delivering "WOW Service."

You will receive comprehensive training across all HR functions and will be adept at identifying when to escape issues to a Specialist for swift resolution.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple inquiries efficiently, and knowing when to escape issues.
• Willingness to support work hours ending at 7 PM ET on a rotating schedule.
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

As an HR Employee Support Generalist, you will:

• Manage resolution of all types of level 1 HR issues and questions (Voice, Email, Mail, Fax, Walk-in) on time with a high degree of accuracy and commitment to delivering "WOW" service.
• Work with established policies, procedures, and performance criteria for delivering Employee Support services.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze calls and know when to escape issues.
• Each team member will have a specific area of primary responsibility for tactical support, i.e., payroll, learning and development, compensation, etc., but will be expected to have knowledge across all disciplines of HR.
• Complete required training and demonstrate the imparted knowledge, skills, and competencies from the training into on-the-job performance across all functions of HR.
• Provide support for HRMS processes and updates across the US. Continuously identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the cost, quality, and timeliness of the service delivery.
• Use Case Management System and Knowledgebase to effectively respond to employee issues.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $23.00-$26.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
