Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an HR Employee Support Generalist to be the Voice of HR for the US operations. You will handle inquiries across HR disciplines and ensure timely, confidential responses with a focus on WOW service.

Training across HR functions will prepare you to escalate when needed, supporting processes from payroll to learning and development while maintaining discretion and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• 1 year in customer service, HR support, or call center; familiarity with HRIS/workday desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Resolve level 1 HR issues via voice, email, mail, fax, and walk-ins with accuracy and WOW service.
• Work with policies and performance criteria for Employee Support services.
• Analyze calls and know when to elevate issues.
• Be knowledgeable across HR disciplines; payroll, learning, development, compensation, etc.
• Complete required training and apply it on the job across HR functions.
• Provide support for US HRMS processes and improve service delivery.

Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an HR Employee Support Generalist to join them!

In this role, you will be the “Voice of HR” and the first point of contact for all of Moog (US) for issues and inquiries regarding any HR discipline. As an HR Employee Support Generalist, you will ensure that all employees, managers, and HR team inquiries are accurately addressed in a professional, cost-effective, and timely manner, with a commitment to delivering “WOW Service.”

You will receive comprehensive training across all HR functions and will be adept at identifying when to elevate issues to a Specialist for swift resolution.

To be considered for the HR Employee Support Generalist role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

• Typically, a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• At least one year in customer service, HR support, or a call center environment. Familiarity with HR systems (such as Workday or similar HRIS), SharePoint, or other employee support platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to analyze data effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and delivering “WOW” experiences.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism while demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple inquiries efficiently, and knowing when to elevate issues.
• Willingness to support work hours ending at 7 PM ET on a rotating schedule.
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

As an HR Employee Support Generalist, you will:

• Manage resolution of all types of level 1 HR issues and questions (Voice, Email, Mail, Fax, Walk-in) on time with a high degree of accuracy and commitment to delivering “WOW” service.
• Work with established policies, procedures, and performance criteria for delivering Employee Support services.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze calls and know when to elevate issues.
• Each team member will have a specific area of primary responsibility for tactical support, i.e., payroll, learning and development, compensation, etc., but will be expected to have knowledge across all disciplines of HR.
• Complete required training and demonstrate the imparted knowledge, skills, and competencies from the training into on-the-job performance across all functions of HR.
• Provide support for HRMS processes and updates across the US. Continuously identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the cost, quality, and timeliness of the service delivery.
• Use Case Management System and Knowledgebase to effectively respond to employee issues.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $23.00–$26.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
