Mat-Su Health Foundation in Wasilla, Alaska, seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead benefits, compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement. The role partners with the CAO and drives HR strategy in a lean, high-responsibility environment.

You will manage benefits programs, oversee HRIS and ATS, administer performance reviews, and advance an exceptional employee experience while ensuring regulatory alignment and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience as HR generalist or HR department of one preferred
• Expertise in benefits administration, compliance, recruiting, and engagement
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, ATS, and benefits platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with all levels
• HR certifications (PHR/SHRM) preferred

Responsabilités

• Oversee benefits administration: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k).
• Lead employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives.
• Ensure HR compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Develop job descriptions with hiring managers and maintain KPI dashboards.
• Provide HR support and data analytics, including reporting and audits.
