HR DIRECTOR at iBUILT Group

iBUILT is currently accepting applications for an HR Director to work as an integral part of our Operations Team in Berwick, PA. The Human Resource Director will be responsible for the overall functions of the Human Resource Department, including interviewing and hiring staff, direct onboarding and off‑boarding of employees, oversight of benefits, employee retention, compliance, training, development, and enforcement of company policies and practices. The successful candidate must thrive in an entrepreneurial start‑up environment and proactively evaluate existing policies and procedures, developing new ones as needed.

Primary Duties
  • Partner with senior management to identify organizational HR needs, present recommendations, and implement outcomes.
  • Drive a culture of excellence and align initiatives with company values.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a company coaching culture and direct the catalytic coaching program.
  • Manage HR, office administration, and safety & health compliance functions.
  • Lead the recruiting process, assess needs, oversee related procedures, provide documentation, and integrate staff.
  • Provide guidance to senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate and assess leadership training programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Direct management of employee benefit programs, including plan design, renewals, open enrollment, communication, compliance, and related documentation.
  • Develop and manage compensation planning and pay-for-performance structures, including wage surveys to maintain competitive rates.
  • Support relations efforts for all employee groups.
  • Recommend policy changes and produce updates, including a new employee handbook.
  • Contract with outside suppliers for employee services as required.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs.
  • Oversee onboarding plans and processes.
Reporting
  • Provide employment reports and KPIs to facilitate organizational strategic planning.
Compliance
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting meet best‑of‑class standards.
Management
  • Recruit, select, conduct performance coaching, career development, compensation decisions, and employment termination with the leadership team.
  • Participate as a proactive, contributing member of the management team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements And Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • HRIS understanding and navigation of the “CoAdvantage” system is a plus.
Required Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related HR leadership experience.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
