Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

Assists HR professionals with advanced HR processes and procedures, such as coordinating new hire onboarding, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, payroll disputes or concerns, licenses and certifications, quarterly recognitions, and other actions. Resolves HR processing issues. Maintains and recommends improvements to internal coworker recordkeeping systems. Independently advises coworkers on standard HR practices and procedures. Receives guidance on new complex assignments without readily available guidelines. May provide leadership to other HR Coordinators.

Required Qualifications

  • Required:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in HR.

Preferred

  • Experience in Healthcare
  • Certification in HR (PHR)
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
