The Role

The HR Coordinator partners with the Human Resources Director and operational managers on a variety of initiatives and directives that maximize organizational effectiveness and performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and place all internal and external advertisements for recruitment and job positions
  2. Review applications & resumes
  3. Arrange interviews
  4. Maintain personnel filing system, prepare weekly payroll documents for processing
  5. Assist with coding all invoices for HR Department
  6. Responsible for printing and distributing all badges for each department
  7. Responsible for assisting in verifying employment for both PT and FT employees
  8. Ensure all Workers’ Compensation claims documentation is completed and provided to insurer
  9. Update the Staff Handbook as needed
  10. Keep filing up to date and secure
  11. Assist the Department Heads with special projects
  12. Take an active role in creating a safe and healthy work environment
  13. Non-Profit recruitment and training management including marketing of program
  14. Create weekly schedules
  15. Organize and administer job fairs
Qualifications
  1. 2-4 years of experience in HR Administration
  2. Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Spanish a plus
  3. Excellent management and social skills
  4. Flexible, straightforward and independent
  5. Able to work independently and take initiative
  6. Non-Profit Program recruitment and management experience a plus

Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training. Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate of $18 to $23 commensurate with experience.
