ABOUT THE POSITION
TheHumanResources (HR)Coordinator is a professional whois responsible forcompleting theadministrative duties for the human resources department of an organization. TheywillsassistHR managers with recruitment,maintainemployee records,assistwith payrollprocessingand provide administrative support to all employees.
Location: Parsons, KS
Key Deliverables
- Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
- Organizing andmaintainingpersonnel records, entering new hire data, and updating anypreviousemployees’ data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information.
Key Activities&Responsibilities
- Assistwith all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing referencechecksand issuing employment contracts.
- Assistwith performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HReventsandmaintainagendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Perform orientations and update records ofnew staff.
- Produce andsubmitreports on general HR activity.
- Identifypotential areas of improvement and propose changes to processes
- Assistwith payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Support other assigned functions.
- Keepup-to-datewith the latest HR trends and best practices.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources or relatedfield.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources and business operations.
- Strong senseof collaboration and teamwork.
- Service minded with a focus on quality and accountability of work.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively speak publicly and make presentations
- Ability towritereports, policies, procedures, and business correspondence
