Description & Requirements

Please Note: This is a Limited Service (temporary) role with benefits, expected to last approximately 6 months. There is a possibility of extension or becoming a regular employee, but this is not guaranteed.

The HR Coordinator - AskHR Team will respond to inquiries regarding various Human Resources areas.

This role is cross-functional, involving background checks and I-9s, depending on volume.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Act as the first line of support to candidates, employees, and HR / Ops partners on issues related to I-9s, Background Investigations, VOEs, Unemployment inquiries, MALT inquiries, and AskHR inquiries.
  2. Update multiple tracking spreadsheets and interdepartmental online tools.
  3. Coordinate follow-up communications and actions with candidates, employees, and HR / Ops partners.
  4. Accurately report employment-related data via Excel spreadsheets.
  5. Participate in audits to ensure data accuracy.
  6. Maintain high levels of accuracy and organization.
  7. Determine appropriate actions for each request, including maintaining confidentiality and escalating issues when necessary.
  8. Attend team meetings to discuss the status of outstanding tasks.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor, especially during difficult or stressful situations.
  10. Collaborate and assist teammates.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt rapidly to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, especially during difficult or stressful situations.
  • Experience with Human Resources systems, Workday, or Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.

Minimum Salary: $17.00; Maximum Salary: $17.50
