Primary Function

The Manager, HR Compensation, is responsible for managing the compensation function and philosophy, including planning, developing, and implementing new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. This position also ensures that company compensation programs are administered consistently in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. The individual will provide compensation expertise related to scalable models and mergers & acquisitions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, administer, and manage enterprise compensation strategy, including salary structures and incentive plans, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure national level consideration and scalability. Model and maintain various types of base pay programs and pay structures. Conduct market research, analyze data, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize employee and clinician compensation packages.
  • Participate in M&A due diligence related to employee compensation programs. Conduct in-depth analysis for job mapping, geographic pay philosophies, and salary structures.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to support organizational initiatives.
  • Perform benchmarking analysis to develop job families, ensure competitive pay targets, and maintain the job architecture to support strategic growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert providing compensation guidance to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders. Prepare and present data and presentation materials.
  • Manage annual non-clinician incentive plans, as well as enterprise merit and bonus programs.
  • Lead data collection and analysis for market studies, pay equity, and other compensation analyses. Participate in salary surveys and evaluate compensation proposals.
  • Review compensation practices for process improvements and automate where possible.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics, ensuring data integrity.
  • Coordinate and promote awareness of core compensation processes, including job documentation and evaluation, ensuring compliance with laws like FLSA.
  • Mentor and train compensation team members; provide performance feedback.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
