Job Description

The HR Business Partner II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

As a key strategic partner, the HR Business Partner II (HRBP II) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP II serves as a consultant on HR-related issues such as performance management, workforce planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational and leadership development, and compensation and benefits. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent.

The HRBP II assesses HR needs proactively, communicates with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and develops integrated solutions. They form partnerships across HR functions to deliver value-added services aligned with organizational goals. The HRBP II maintains a solid understanding of the organization's strategic plan and culture.

Responsibilities :
  • Provides guidance and support regarding employee relations, workforce planning, compensation, talent and performance management, and leadership development.
  • Collaborates with leaders to align HR services with organizational priorities and strategy.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive people strategies.
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives.
  • Advises leadership on workforce best practices and policies that support NM's mission and values.
  • Coaches on employee relations issues, performance management, conflict resolution, and retention strategies.
  • Investigates complaints made to HR, EEOC, or other agencies, maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Serves as a resource and mentor to HRBP I colleagues.
  • Emphasizes AA / EOE principles.
Qualifications

Required :

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or hospital management, including HR Business Partner roles.
  • Operations and management experience.
  • Process improvement expertise.
  • Facilitation and training skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HR applications and MS Office programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to facilitate effective meetings and interactions.

Preferred :

  • PHR or SPHR certification.
