Additional Information About the Role

BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to primarily support Goldfarb School of Nursing and areas within the healthcare system.

Candidates should have experience in problem solving, consultation and change management within organizations.

Knowledge of data and using that to make changes is a plus!

Ideal candidates will have HR experience in an academic setting.

Mostly onslte position, with some flexibility for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for providing proactive HR consultation directly connected to the immediate and long term business needs of the hospital. Serves as a hands-on, progressive HR generalist who develops a thorough understanding of business challenges and related human capital needs of all assigned departments and functions and ensures alignment of the strategies and programs to the broader organizational goals. Partners with management and employees to provide service and support in a variety of HR functions, with an emphasis in performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, management training and organizational development, compensation and benefits administration, rewards and recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with management on complex HR employee relations issues and drives HR programs and initiatives including compensation/benefits, organizational development/effectiveness matters, and talent acquisition.
  • Leads change initiatives.
  • Utilizes strong interpersonal skills and abilities to effectively interact with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Effectively balances employee advocacy with business imperatives.
  • Monitors and analyzes various human resource metrics and provides proactive consultation to address potential business issues.
