Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Design, or Business preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or leadership role within a Human Resources organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to discuss and work with all levels of leadership regarding business strategy and human capital implications.
  • Experience supporting and driving change management initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex and matrixed business and HR models.
  • Knowledge of organizational development techniques and performance management.
  • Ability to support leadership and talent development initiatives.
  • Travel flexibility based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR consultation and support to business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Assist in creating development plans for high-potential employees and identify talent at all levels for current and future critical roles.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance team dynamics and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support leadership development by guiding leaders through talent review and succession planning activities.
  • Develop strategies to close talent gaps, strengthen leadership teams, and build bench strength for succession planning.
  • Design and implement retention strategies focusing on key leaders and critical skill sets.
  • Coach leaders on personal efficacy and leadership impact to foster effective leadership.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to identify talent requirements and execute development initiatives.
  • Manage functional workforce plans in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Act as a change agent to facilitate organizational change, using best practices and frameworks to prepare employees for transformation.
  • Support various HR projects including strategy development, metrics reporting, and process improvements.

About The Role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Astound plays a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives across designated functional areas. This position involves providing strategic HR consultation to business leaders, supporting leadership development, and managing talent and capability initiatives. The HRBP acts as a change agent, facilitating organizational change through best practices, frameworks, and tools that prepare employees for ongoing transformation. The role requires close collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and business leaders to develop workforce plans, identify high potentials, and implement retention strategies. The HRBP will also support various HR projects, including strategy development, metrics tracking, and reporting. This position offers an opportunity to influence organizational effectiveness, foster leadership growth, and contribute to Astound’s mission of creating astounding possibilities for everyone, everywhere. The role is primarily remote, with occasional commuting to local offices near the Astound West or Central Market, including WA, OR, CA, and TX, based on business needs.
