Job summary

MAHLE in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner - Training & Development to align workforce planning with operational goals and lead learning initiatives across the site. The role designs and delivers onboarding, technical, leadership, and professional development programs, oversees LMS/HRIS data, and coaches managers on performance, engagement, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Education, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Training and Development, Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a closely related role is required.
• Experience developing and facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training programs.
• Experience with HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

Your Contribution

The Human Resources Business Partner - Training & Development (HRBPT) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders while leading learning, talent development, employee capability building, and workforce effectiveness initiatives. This role combines core HR Business Partner responsibilities with hands-on leadership of training and development programs.

• Partner with business leaders to align workforce planning, talent development, and employee capability initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Conduct organizational, departmental, and individual training needs assessments to identify performance gaps and development opportunities.
• Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate onboarding, compliance, technical, leadership, and professional development training programs.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure successful employee integration and engagement.
• Develop and maintain annual training plans and employee development roadmaps that support operational and strategic objectives.
• Manage and oversee Learning Management System (LMS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records to ensure training compliance and accurate reporting.
• Establish training effectiveness measurements utilizing assessments, audits, employee feedback, and business performance indicators.
• Provide coaching and consultation to supervisors, managers, and employees regarding performance management, employee relations, engagement, and career development.
• Support succession planning, talent review processes, and employee development initiatives.
• Support recruiting initiatives, employee retention efforts, workforce development programs, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with employee investigations, policy interpretation, corrective action processes, and conflict resolution activities as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the MAHLE Production System (MPS).
• Analyze workforce and training metrics to identify trends and recommend improvement actions.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Education, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Training and Development, Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a closely related role is required.
• Experience developing and facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training programs.
• Manufacturing or operations support experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence leaders at all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, training design, performance consulting, and organizational development.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technology platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel Knowledge.
