Job summary

Bionova Scientific LLC, an Asahi Kasei Company, seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to drive HR strategy locally in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Asahi Kasei HR team to align HR goals with local business needs.
  • Advise leadership on workforce planning, development, and employee relations.
  • Handle a heavy recruitment workload with internal recruiters and temp agencies.
  • Execute HR programs with HR Shared Services teams including onboarding, training, performance, compensation, benefits, engagement, compliance and HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with US and international employment laws and maintain HR policies and governance.
  • Oversee employee relations, investigations, and guidance on performance and conflict resolution.
  • Direct annual performance reviews and salary planning activities.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding with front desk and support teams.
  • Monitor HR metrics and use data to inform decisions and improve effectiveness.
  • Identify risks and implement proactive workforce solutions.
  • Support a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture.
