Job summary

Oxy is seeking a driven HR intern/analyst to partner with leaders, support talent management and onboarding, and help interpret HR policies. You will coach on performance matters, analyze workforce trends, and drive engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master’s degree with graduation Dec 2026 – May 2027.
  • Minimum 2.85 GPA in overall and major.
  • Proactive, results-driven with high learning agility.
  • Strong partnership skills with stakeholders in business and HR.
  • Solid Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to advise on HR policies and programs.
  • Support talent management, workforce planning, and onboarding.
  • Assist with employee relations and performance coaching.
  • Analyze workforce data and report trends to inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs and leaders on compliance initiatives.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Partner with leaders and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, programs and employee-related matters.
  • Support talent management activities, including workforce planning, employee development, retention, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations and performance management processes by providing coaching, policy interpretation, and issue resolution support.
  • Analyze and report workforce data and trends to support business decisions and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR centers of expertise and business leaders to implement engagement, change management, and compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Candidates pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Industrial & Labor Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field with a graduation date in December 2026 – May 2027
  • Must have at least a 2.85 GPA overall and in major
  • Proactive and results-driven individual who has high learning agility and is resourceful and innovative.
  • Leadership aptitude, including the ability to collaborate and establish strong partnerships with stakeholders in the business and HR teams
  • Strong Excel skills; ability to manipulate and analyze data using pivot tables, v-lookups, and Excel formulas

  • Strong analytical capabilities, advanced statistics skills, leverages data to generate insights and drive evidence-based recommendations
