Position Summary
This position will focus on the data analysis and visualization needs to support the HR department initiatives including business planning, financial reporting and strategy. The incumbent will be responsible for processing standard operating procedures, document management, compliance and improvements. The position is based in the corporate offices in Reading, PA and requires presence in the office at least four days a week.
Major Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Executing established analytical processes (including trending, correlation, financial, qualitative, forecasting, business planning and scenario planning analysis) and regular reporting for field and corporate leadership through creating and maintaining dashboards or tools to summarize, analyze and report key HR business metrics.
- Data gathering and research, conducted independently and as part of a team.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Other projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Data Visualization: Prepare presentations synthesizing analysis into clear, understandable findings and recommendations; collaborate with HR functional experts and business leadership to develop key metrics, design reports and deploy workforce planning tools.
- Process Audit and Measurement: Document and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures for HR processes specific to the administration of labor agreements; provide 2nd level customer support and monitor systems for data integrity; identify and correct errors using advanced problem‑solving skills; maintain standard data definitions to ensure reporting and process consistency; audit process accuracy and recommend controls to reduce non‑compliance; create training or support materials as needed for each procedure and coordinate the change‑control process.
- Document Management: Manage centralized process and system related to documentation requirements for collective bargaining agreements, policies and procedures; manage the rollout and communication of new features, enhancements, and document offerings; administer document storage, collection, tagging, user access, reporting, and general maintenance; validate and report Collective Bargaining Agreement Terms and Conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; if no degree, equivalent work experience is required.
- With a bachelor’s degree: at least 2 years of experience in an analytical, data analysis or technology role; HR experience preferred.
- Without a bachelor’s degree: at least 4 years of continuous experience in an analytical, data analysis or technology role; HR experience strongly preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- Intermediate experience required in Financial Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Data visualization and storytelling, Business Software (MS Suite, etc.), and Document Management.
- Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel required.
- Beginner level knowledge of Qlik Designer and data mining preferred.
- Must understand complex relationships and requirements.
- Must have advanced problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to drive process change and adapt to system and business requirement changes quickly.
- Must be able to combine data from multiple disjointed systems, overcome missing data, and determine acceptable sample sizes for conclusions.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment required.
- Must have good communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with project management preferred.
- Must be process‑focused and have critical thinking skills.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
