CNO Financial Group, Inc. is offering a paid HR Benefits, Wellness and People Focus Intern position for 2027. The role supports benefits, well-being, and People Focus initiatives across offices in Carmel, IN and Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement.

The internship runs May 17 through August 06, 2027, offering exposure to data gathering, vendor interactions, and communications for programs and events. Candidates must be pursuing relevant degrees and available for the summer term.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, management, HR, industrial psychology, communications or related discipline.
• Rising junior or rising senior with anticipated graduation Dec 2027–Jun 2029.
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR benefits, wellness and People Focus projects.
• Support data gathering, vendor demos and market analyses.
• Contribute to benefits, well-being and communications materials.
• Help update Benefits & Well-being guides, enrollment documents and surveys.
• Collaborate with BRGs and Facilities on company-wide events.
