Responsibilities

• Conducts recruitment/examining activities
• Amends established job announcements
• Reviews applications for qualification competencies or skill match
• Verifies veteran's preference
• Secures required documentation (citizenship proofs, transcripts)
• Applies pay setting per OPM/internal policies
• Codes staffing actions per the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions
• Coordinates with Payroll to resolve pay issues
• Assists HR Specialist with onboarding of new employees
• Reviews documents for missing or conflicting information
• Coordinates with Personnel Security counterparts
• Maintains electronic personnel file current
