Job summary

County of Dodge is hiring for a full-time, non-exempt Human Resources position in Dodge County. The role supports recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS maintenance from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday at the Dodge County Administrative Building in Juneau, WI.

The starting wage is $24.86–$27.36 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include posting notices, interviewing, background checks, orientation, benefits administration, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in HR Administration or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in HR Administration or related field.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check.
• Experience in an office setting, preferably with an emphasis on HR.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the recruitment process, including reviewing applications and evaluating qualifications.
• Prepares job postings and attends career fairs as required.
• Conducts interviews and establishes interview panels.
• Verifies certifications and renewal dates.
• Completes written offer letters and conducts reference checks.
• Coordinates pre-employment testing and provides employee orientation.
