We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Office Manager with experience in both HR and finance to support and lead key business functions. This role will primarily focus on managing critical HR processes such as payroll processing, employee relations, and talent acquisition, while also processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, a passion for improving workplace culture, and the ability to manage diverse administrative and HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute key HR functions including payroll processing and review, performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition/retention, and compensation.
Partner with leadership to implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with business goals.
Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR matters, ensuring effective communication and resolution of employee concerns.
Conduct internal investigations, mediate conflicts, and support the development and implementation of corrective actions.
Manage the recruitment process, from posting jobs to onboarding new hires.
Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment processes.
Perform day to day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, ensuring that invoices are processed accurately, and payments are made or collected on time.
Manage AP/AR aging reports and collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Prepare financial reports related to AP/AR and assist in monthly reconciliations.
Collaborate with leadership to manage financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Strategic Support & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between leadership and employees, ensuring alignment on company objectives and HR initiatives.
Leverage HR tools and financial metrics to assist in business analysis and decision-making.
Provide support to employees by overseeing site wide safety programs, documentation of workers compensation claims, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Partner with leadership to implement strategies for improving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and team performance.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (1–3 years) in office management, HR, or finance roles with exposure to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management (preferred).
HR certifications (e.g., PHR) are a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Paychex or similar HR tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting principles.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Self-motivated with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive projects to completion.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage financial and HR data for informed decision-making.
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
