HR Agitator Driver / Relief Batcher | Singleton page is loaded
We are now seeking a professional and enthusiasticHR Agitator Driver / Relief Batcher.
This role will be based out of our Singleton Concrete Plant, however, once trained relief batching duties may be at the Singleton, Cessnock or Muswellbrook plants.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety, results focused and has a strong work ethic. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential.
In your new role with us, you will be:
Responsible for the day-to-day operational concrete plant batching duties including loading trucks and associated yard works.
Liaise with all departments to ensure efficient operational needs.
Raw material stock control, stocktaking and ordering.
Front end loader duties to maintain plant raw materials supply.
Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck and deliver concrete to our customers.
Pushing and pulling of loads, including operating concrete discharge chute
Ensuring the designated vehicle is roadworthy and mechanically sound.
Operating the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner to and from designated sites
Having sufficient working knowledge of the product to comply with relevant delivery standards.
Passing on customer feedback back to the batch plant and sales team
Ensure all products meet 100% total quality requirements and all plant and equipment are maintained and working properly.
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
Have a valid HR or HC Drivers Licence
Experience driving an Agitator truck is highly regarded, but not essential.
Have a current Construction White Card, or willing to get one before you start.
Front end loader competencies desired but not essential as training will be available.
Be comfortable with use of computers and operating systems, training will be available.
Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
Be an effective communicator and have the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
What we offer:
Base hourly rate of $33.70 per hour, plus super and overtime penalties and allowances
Weekly pay and 1 accrued RDO per month
Company Uniforms and PPE are supplied
Intensive Driver and Batcher training and support from our experienced team

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Heidelberg Materials premises.
