Job summary

Endeavor Schools in Miami is seeking an organized HR Administrative Assistant to join our Support Team, helping teachers and leaders across 100+ schools. This role offers a hybrid schedule after training and focuses on accurate HRIS updates, benefits processing, and employee support.

You’ll handle Dayforce tasks, answer questions via Zendesk, assist with verifications, and help with licensing documentation. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or similar support role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HRIS software (Dayforce experience is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly phone presence.
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Benefits Analyst to process daily HRIS updates: new hires, terminations, status changes, start dates, manager/role changes, workflows, and benefits transactions.
• Be the go-to for Dayforce support, including password resets, multifactor authentication resets, and login issues for staff across the organization.
• Provide first-level support to employees through Zendesk.
• Assist with tracking FMLA and other leave programs.
• Process and submit employment verifications.
• Guide and process summer change forms for 10/10 and 10/12 staff to prevent overpayments.
• Support Georgia Pre-K staff each year by maintaining contracts, updating profiles, and tracking in Airtable.
• Make sure every HR-critical transaction and email is handled accurately and on time.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and travel for retreats, team trips, and visits from board members, investors, and partners.
• Keep Support Team and school directories up to date and distribute them monthly.
• Provide administrative support to the CEO as needed.
• Answer and route calls on the central phone line.
• Process mail and incoming payments (accounts receivable).

We’re looking for an organized, people-first HR Administrative Assistant who loves helping others, takes pride in getting the details right, and wants their work to make a real difference.

This position is based in Miami or North Miami, FL, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of initial training.

A Day in the Life

Your morning might start with helping a teacher in another state who’s locked out of Dayforce, followed by processing a batch of new hires and role changes with our Benefits Analyst. By midday you’re answering employee questions in Zendesk, completing an employment verification, and keeping our school directories current. In the afternoon, you could be booking travel for an upcoming leadership retreat or pulling together documentation for a brand-new school’s licensing. No two days look exactly alike, and every one of them helps our schools run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

HR Administration

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
